Do you know that you can order beef and chicken directly from Sam's? I go through a friend of a friend and managed to score some cheap meat.
I got 20 lbs. of ground beef and almost 6 pounds of Tyson Chicken Breasts for $45.00!
That is an average of $1.73 a lb...can't get much cheaper than that.
If you would like more information, let me know and I will get with the girl that orders it and see if we can do some bigger orders. She orders every couple of months so I would say the next order would be late Fall or Early Winter.
Until then, if you find some great deals on meat, let us know. That is always the part that eats up my budget. I buy my pork at Dillons when it is Buy One Get One Free and other than that I try to hit the clearance section at the meat department.
