  1. The most fun I've had helping others was at a carnival at our local elementary school. We had jugglers, clowns, and tons of activities, and the kids all had a blast!

  7. My favorite experience helping others has been being a stay at home mom & helping my husband with the finances by learning to use coupons. It is something I NEVER thought I would do but it is something that is really helping and we are both seeing the benefits from.

  8. Just this past weekend I was doing work at a ski lodge (work un-related to the ski lodge) and had a lot of down time. During the down times, I walked around the rental shop helping the kids with their ski boots. I'm sure it didn't really make too much of a difference in their lives but it felt really great to be able to help the kiddos and their parents.

  9. One of my favorite ways to make a difference is helping to staff the American Government Camp for Jr. High and Highschool students in our area. I love helping them to see that they CAN make a difference.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. My very favorite way to help others is to teach them the salvation message of Jesus dying for our sins. This not only helps them here on earth, but for eternity!

  11. We have a local charity here called Birthday Wishes. They provide birthday parties in each of the women's shelters around the state... for the kids. I love doing the cakes. I have done some pretty crazy designs... it's as much fun for me as it is for the kids. I love seeing how excited they get when I bring in the cake!

  12. I have helped (and continue to help) others by making myself available when they need me. I'm willing to be flexible with my schedule if they need someone to talk to, help with errands, etc.

  13. I'm a teacher, so I help kids learn every day. I also think it's important to teach them the value of helping others, and encourage them to do it whenever they can!
